A number of varieties are available. T-Pipes, Elbow pipes, Men's and Women's pipes. Material for the red pipes comes from pipestone Minnesota. Material for black pipes are made from traditional black stone.

This stone for these new designs comes from Grants Pass, Oregon.

These pipes are widely used across North America, generally for ceremonial purposes but can be used for personal use also.
