Piita's Ceremonial Drums - Home

Home

Piita's Ceremonial Drums and Rattles are custom made for many uses. They are primarily used for Sweat Lodges, Sundances and also used at Pow Wows. Piita's Drums and Rattles are also great for decoration use, wall hangings and great conversations pieces. Piita has sold his drums and rattles worldwide, Europe, Canada, and the USA. Most of Piita's merchandise is sold to the North American Native Reserve.

There are two types of Native Drums:

Hand drums (usually 14 to 17 inches wide and 3 inches high and are priced from $160)

Pow Wow or Sundance drums(from 20 to 36 inches wide and 15 inches tall and are priced from $500 to $1,000. These bigger drums can be heard up to 8 miles away (12km) and they will accommodate up to 16 singers.(drummers)

Piita's Drums are handcrafted with genuine animal skins, rawhide, and cedar wood frames. These frames can also be bought separately. Each drum is unique and comes ready to play with drum stick.

Currently Piita is engaged in teaching others the art of stringing their own drum, which some people take a great deal of pride in. Piita can do this at his own home, or if the numbers warrant, can travel to your location. (price will vary on distance)
